I have a huge soft spot for Woodland Animal crafts and I wouldn’t typically associate this theme with Easter, however (and I’m sure you will agree), this adorable Woodland Animal Easter Egg Craft is totally worthy of breaking the rules.
Our fabulous contributor has successfully combined cute with sass, to create a gorgeous Easter Egg Craft that will be a joy to make and since they’re made out of wood, they can be enjoyed year after year!
Woodland Animal Easter Egg Craft: Materials
Paint
Black Paint Pen or Black Permanent Marker
Wooden Eggs
Paint Brush
Hot Glue
Black, Orange, Brown and Pink Cardstock
Pencil
Woodland Animal Easter Egg Craft: Tutorial
Step 1. Paint the wooden eggs brown, gray and red/orange. This will take 2-3 coats. Allow the paint to dry completely.
Step 2. Use a pencil to draw on facial details and a stomach patch.
Step 3. Paint the facial details and stomach patch with complementing colors. (refer to the photo) Allow the paint to dry completely.
Step 4. Use a black paint marker or black permanent marker and draw noses onto each egg.
Step 5. Use a pencil to draw on sassy lashes. Once you are satisfied with how they look, trace over them with a black paint marker or a black permanent marker.
Step 6. Using cardstock, create tail, ear and antler elements for your woodland animals.
Step 7. Paint details onto each tail with complementing colors. (refer to the photo)
Your woodland animals are complete! They are sure to impress.
