Learn how to make a Super Dad Pop Up Card for Father’s Day!
Our Super Dad Father’s Day card is a SUPER easy color, cut and stick craft for kids to make. The simple pop-up element requires just a few folds and is a great way for kids’ to introduce 3D effects into their crafting.
The Father’s Day card also features comic “speech bubbles” for children to tell dad what makes him super. These messages can be hand written for an added personalized touch or simply cut and stuck from our printable Father’s Day card template.

How to Make a Super Dad Pop Up Card for Father’s Day
Materials:
Colored Card Stock
A Coloring Medium
Scissors
Glue Stick

Let’s Make a Father’s Day Card!
Color in the Super Dad Card Template
Use a favorite coloring medium to color in the super dad template.
Carefully Cut out the Card Insert and Super Hero Elements
Once the insert and super dad elements are colored in, carefully cut them out.
Fold the Colored Card Stock in Half
Select a colored piece of card stock and fold the sheet in half.
Glue the Insert to the Inside of the Card
Fold the father’s day card insert and glue to the inside of the backing card.
Fold the Super Hero Flaps
Next, turn the super dad badge over and fold both flaps.
Fold the Super Hero Badge in Half
With the flaps folded, turn the badge over and fold in half.
Apply Glue to the Flaps and Create the Pop-Up
Apply a generous amount of glue to each flap.
Align the badge along the center fold and glue a flap to either side – to create the lift, make sure the flaps are glued fairly close to the center fold!
Pop a hand inside the lift badge to secure the flaps.
Fold the Father’s Day Card to Close
Carefully fold the card to close to enhance and secure the pop-up badge.
Complete the Father’s Day Card with Hand Written Messages
OR use the Messages Provided
Complete the card by added printed or personalized messages for dad to the inside of each bubble.
The remaining blank space is for children to draw their own comic bubble or to write their “To Dad, Love From ….. ” message.
