Watch the Step-by-Step Video and make a Christmas Card Snowman
Step 1: Color in the Snowman elements.
Use a favorite medium to color in the snowman’s carrot nose, scarf, stick arms and buttons.
Step 2: Fold a piece of white cardstock in half.
To make the fold of the Christmas card nice and crisp, run a finger or popsicle stick along the fold.
Step 3: Pom-pom print around the snowman template.
Select a few cool colors (blue, pink and purple) and add a pom-pom to each squirt of paint.
Place the snowman template onto the front side of the folded Christmas card and use a pom-pom to dab paint around the snowman’s outline.
Follow the outline of the snowman; painting different colors, layering and expanding to the edges of the Christmas card.
Step 4: Paint Snowflakes with a q-tip.
Use an q-tip or a fine tipped paintbrush to paint dots (snowflakes) around the snowman.
Step 5: Remove the snowman template.
Carefully peel the snowman template away from the Christmas card to reveal the snowman silhouette.
Step 6: Affix the snowman elements to the silhouette.
Bring the snowman to life and glue the buttons, arms, nose and scarf to the snowman shape.
Step 7: Draw the snowman’s face.
Complete the Christmas card snowman design by drawing a pair of eyes and a cute wiggly smile!
