This rocking Paper Plate Easter Bunny Craft is a super fun and easy Easter Craft for kids to make!

Our paper plate features an adorable and super easy cut and stick Easter bunny with a stash of individually designed Easter eggs.

To complete this bunny craft, all your children will need is their favorite coloring medium, a paper plate and our printable bunny template!

While this Easter craft is simple in design, it’s creatively open-ended; Children are free to design their Easter eggs in all sorts of wonderful patterns and colors, and may color their Easter bunny to their own fancy. For Inspiration, perhaps they have a pet bunny of their own or a stuffed toy they can draw upon?

How to Make the Rocking Paper Plate Easter Bunny Craft

To make this super cute Paper Plate Easter Bunny all you will need is a paper plate, a few crayons, a dab of glue, scissors and our printable Easter Bunny Template!

Materials:

• Paper Plate
• Crayons, Maker Pens or a Preferred Coloring Medium
• Colored Card Stock for Printing, Tracing and Extra Eggs
• Black or White Marker Pen
• Scissors
• Glue Stick

Let’s Make a Rocking Paper Plate Easter Bunny:

Design and Color in the Easter eggs

To begin, gather a favorite coloring medium and draw some fun Easter egg designs!

Once the Easter egg template is brimming with color, carefully cut out the designs.

Trace and Cut out the Bunny Elements and Extra Easter eggs

Arty Crafty Kids have the option to color in the bunny template OR trace the elements onto colored card stock.

Once an approach has been chosen, cut out the final Bunny elements.

Trace an Easter egg shape onto various pieces of colored card stock. These eggs will become “filler” eggs to the designs to ensure the paper plate is completely covered.

Assemble the Easter Bunny’s Head

Glue the bunny’s ears, eyes and nose to the large oval shape to complete the bunny’s head.

Draw the Remaining Bunny Facial Features

Next, draw a set of whiskers, lashes (optional) and a mouth expression with a white or black marker pen.

Fold the Paper Plate in Half

Once all the Easter elements are prepared, fold a paper plate in half.

Glue the Easter eggs onto the Paper Plate

Apply a generous dab of glue onto each Easter egg and secure them to one side of the paper plate.

Try to layer the plain colored eggs first and stick the unique ones on top!

Continue Covering the Paper Plate with Easter Eggs

Continue sticking the Easter eggs onto the paper plate.

Glue the Easter Bunny Head

With the eggs stuck to the paper plate, apply a dab of glue to the back of the Easter bunny’s head and secure it to the front ( central position) of the paper plate.

The bunny should now look as if it’s looking over a stash of Easter eggs.

Secure the Bunny’s Arms

Next, fold each of the bunny’s arms in half and glue them over the fold of the paper plate – one arm either side of the the Easter Bunny’s head.

The Rocking Easter Bunny Craft is Complete!

The bunny is now ready to rock with its stash of colorful Easter eggs!
