How to Make a Pig Paper Plate Step-by-Step
Step 1: Paint the paper plate.
Start by painting a paper plate with pink paint. This will be the pig’s face.
Step 2: Make the pig’s snout.
Cut a small section from the end of a cardboard tube and paint it pink. Once dry, this will become the pig’s cute and bouncy 3D snout.
Trace the snout shape from the template onto pink paper and use a pen to draw two nostrils.
Carefully cut it out and glue it onto the front of the dry-painted cardboard snout to add detail and character.
Step 3: Add the pig’s eyes.
Start by coloring the pupils black, thinking about their placement to give your pig a fun or curious expression.
Assemble the eyes, then glue them to the upper half of the paper plate.
Step 4: Affix the pig’s ears.
Assemble the pig’s ears by adding a darker shade of pink to the inner ear pieces for contrast.
Then, glue the completed ears to the top of the paper plate.
Step 5: Add expression to the pig’s eyes.
Use a black marker to add eyelashes or expressive eyebrows, giving your pig extra personality and charm.
Step 6: Affix the pig’s snout.
Apply a generous layer of glue to the base of the snout.
Then press it firmly onto the center of the pig’s face to secure it in place.
Step 7: Complete the paper plate pig craft.
Use a black marker to complete your paper plate pig with a cheerful smile, adding the final touch of character to your adorable farmyard friend.
