Watch the Step-by-Step to see how Llama Coloring Craft is made:
Let’s Make a Llama!
Step 1: Choose a favorite medium to color in the llama template.
When considering the coloring medium in terms of age appropriateness, crayons are generally more suitable for younger children due to their ease of use and less mess.
On the other hand, watercolor pens can be better suited for older children who have developed more refined motor skills and are ready to explore blending techniques and more intricate color effects.
With watercolor pens, older kids can experiment with blending colors together, creating stunning gradients and adding depth to their artistic creations, making it a wonderful medium to nurture their creativity and skills.
Step 2: Carefully cut out the llama elements from the template.
Step 3: Find the center line and fold the llama head piece in half.
Add a dab of glue to the top of the llama’s head and secure the folds to make a double sides llama head.
Step 4: Find the dotted line on the llama’s body and cut a small slit.
Afterward, simply fold the llama’s body in half to give the paper craft a 3D dimension.
Step 5: Apply a dab of glue to the bottom area of the llama’s neck on both sides.
Carefully place the llama’s head into the slit on the body and then gently pinch the body together to firmly secure the head in place.
Step 6: Attach all four legs to the llama’s body.
Step 7: For the final step, fold the tail in half and affix it with glue to the creased part on the llama’s body.
Once the tail is attached to the llama’s body, the coloring craft is now complete!
Your Arty Crafty Kids will proudly own a fully assembled 3D llama that they can proudly display and enjoy playing with.
