Surprise your trick-or-treaters with these Printable Halloween Treat Boxes! The Halloween boxes are easy for kids to colour and make, and even more fun to fill.
The treat boxes are available in full colour and black & white for kids to decorate, and are perfect for an upcoming Halloween party or for an evening of trick-or-treating.
Like many of all of our templates and colouring pages, these treat boxes have been hand-drawn and designed with love! Our playful bat character can also be found in puppet form and features as a stand alone colouring page within the Arty Crafty Kids members area.
How to Make the Printable Halloween Treat Boxes:
What you need:
The Treat Box Printables!
White Cardstock or Heavy Good Quality Paper
Colouring Pens/Pencils or Crayons
Glue Stick
Scissors
Tricks or Treats.

Printing Instructions:
Download and print the templates from the Arty Crafty Kids members area.
The templates can be downloaded onto good quality paper or card stock.
If you opt for card stock, remember to check your printer settings for a recommended weight. Most printers prefer card stock less than 220gsm.
Assembling the Halloween Treat Boxes:
Start with the Long Dotted Lines
Step 1: Familiarise yourself with the fold lines, these are the white dotted lines shown above.
Step 2: Turn the template over and fold along the first dotted line working towards the inside (white space) of the box.
With each fold, gently run your finger crossed the line.
Step 3: Continue folding until you reach the short strip where the glue will be applied.
Fold the Card Around to Form the Box
Step 4: Fold the box round to ensure each line has been folded correctly.
Do Not Secure Yet!

Step 5: Fold the lid pieces towards the inside of the box.
Find the Extra Dotted Lines!
Step 6: Fold the worded semi-circles towards the printed part of the lid.
Assemble the Printable Halloween Treat Box
Step 7: Create the box by applying lots of glue to the short strip. Fold the box around and secure.
Step 8: Fill the Printable Halloween Treat Boxes with your favourite spooky treats or tricks (my son filled his with fake spiders)
Step 9: Fold the lid pieces in and secure the worded semi-circles with glue to seal the box!
The treat boxes are now ready for your trick or treaters or Halloween party!
