Sharing is caring!
Are you ready to have a paws-itively purr-fect time coloring in our printable 30 cat coloring pages for kids, stuffed with cute cats and lovable kittens?
Cats are one of the most popular pets across the world, and that could be down to their hilarious personalities, or perhaps just how adorable they are.
We love cats at Arty Crafty Kids so we have created a cute printable coloring book jam-packed with 30 unique cat themed pages.
The cats in this cats coloring pages book are all having tons of fun, and now they just need to be filled with color to complete their look. Will you color your cats in calico, black and white or ginger tabby, or perhaps rainbow colors?!
Cats are a great subject for coloring in, mainly because of how cute they are, but these cat coloring pages can also make a great template for trying out new artistic mediums. It could be fun to layer different materials to create an interesting fur look!
For example try out coloring in with oil pastel, and then using a coloring pencil to scratch lines out of the color to create the effect of fur.
Once your children have colored their cats and put them out on show, perhaps they could learn how to draw their own cute cats and kittens using our flow drawing technique!

Simple Cat Coloring Pages
Our unique coloring pages are hand drawn with little people in mind. We make sure to use bold outlines to make coloring in the lines easy and fun!
Coloring is super beneficial for children and really help building strength in little hands and wrists, improving finger grip and hand eye co-ordination.
Simple pages usually keep children more focussed as it is less overwhelming, so they are more likely to want to complete more and more coloring pages!
As children find themselves more immersed in coloring, they will start to learn about things like perspective and shapes.
Building on this will help improve their own drawing skills and in no time they will be coming up with their own characters and designs.

Coloring In The Lines
“That switch in coloring skills is a milestone for children because it shows that their motor skills and cognitive skills are developing,”
Rachel Annunziato, Ph.D., an associate professor of psychology at Fordham University in New York
Coloring in the lines is one of the developmental milestones that children normally reach between the ages of three to five years of age, although we believe each child develops at their own pace and these coloring pages for kids can be just a lot of fun to color in while developing their fine motor skills and using their imagination!
