Our 3D snowdrop coloring page and craft includes a FREE printable template for you to share with your Arty Crafty Kids either at home or within the classroom.

This is a lovely coloring page/craft for introducing the topic of seasonal transition and renewal; in this case, from Winter to Spring.

The snowdrops, often followed by crocus’, are usually the first flowers to emerge as the days begin to get longer and slightly sunnier – a beautiful flower that’s always a joy to see.

The coloring page and craft itself is simple in design and fun to color. The pop-up elements offer an introduction into exploring 3D crafting and transforms a traditional coloring page into something really special!

Materials

Cardstock or Paper for Printing
A Favorite Coloring Medium
Scissors
Glue Stick

Let’s Start Coloring!

Step 1: Use a favorite medium to creatively color in the snowdrop coloring page

Coloring is a fantastic way for children to explore new mediums and blending techniques.

Our coloring pages are perfect for crayons, coloring pencils and marker pens, however it’s always fun to play and watercolor brush pens or pencils and soft pastel pencils take coloring to a new level!

They’re great mediums for blending and creating interesting tones and shades.

Step 2: Cut out the snowdrop flower heads

Step 3: Fold the gray flaps behind the snowdrop head

Step 4: Gently bend the snowdrop flower head

Step 5: Apply a generous spread of glue to the flaps and affix the snowdrop heads to a corresponding stem

The snowdrop flower heads are all slightly different in size and Arty Crafty Kids will need to think carefully about which head fits where!

Once they’ve chosen a space, press down firmly around the snowdrops head and pop a finger inside to enhance the 3D element and secure the flaps to the coloring page.

Step 6: Affix all the snowdrop heads to complete

Once all the snowdrops are complete the coloring page is ready for display!
