Assembling the 3D elements:
Each design consists of two pages; a base coloring page and another featuring the 3D elements.
The base coloring page will depict a unique buggy scene, with gray shaded areas to indicate where the 3D elements should be placed.
Where the elements page features more than one 3D component, they will be roughly in position and in order to make it easier for Arty Crafty Kids to work out where they go ( this will account for some of the excess white space on the second pages).
Alternatively, they can simply measure the flaps on component to the shaded areas on the base coloring page to see where they should be placed.
3D Dragonfly Coloring Page
Dragonflies combined with flowers makes for a beautifully colorful and elegant illustration. These dragonflies feature intricate wings that invite Arty Crafty Kids to get creative with color.
How to assemble the 3D elements to complete the dragonflies:
Step 1: Gently fold the wings as shown above.
Step 2: Apply a spread of glue to the small middle section of the wings.
Step 3: Affix the wings to the dragonflies body.
3D Stag Beetle Coloring Page
Beetles, particularly stag-beetles, are fascinating creatures of peculiar shapes and extraordinary colors with their armor featuring shiny hues of green, blue and red.
This makes our stag beetle really fun to color. He takes center stage on the coloring page, embedded within a natural looking scene.
How to assemble the 3D elements to complete the Stag Beetle:
Step 1: Turn the leafy element over and fold the long rectangular flap.
Step 2: Apply a spread of glue to the flap and affix the leafy area to the bottom of the tree stump, just below the stag beetle.
Step 3: Fold the flaps of the antlers ( they’re actually over-sized mandibles) and affix to the stag beetles head to complete the stag beetle.
3D Blue-Bottle Fly Coloring Page
Check out these adorable blue-bottle flies buzzing around the daffodils!
Each daffodil features 3 additional petals that need folding and sticking to complete the 3D effect. Arty Crafty Kids will need to use their problem solving skills to match the petals with the correct placement.
How to assemble the 3D elements to complete the daffodils:
Step 1: Cut out the petals and match them to the shaded areas on the blue bottle fly coloring page.
Step 2: Fold the flaps and apply a spread of glue. Affix each petal to complete the daffodils.
3D Firefly Coloring Page

How to assemble the 3D elements to complete the firefly:
Step 1: Get creative with the coloring of the firefly’s tummy by blending similar shades to emphasize its segmented appearance.
Step 2: Fold the flaps located at the bottom and top of the firefly’s tummy. Apply a spread of glue to each and affix the bottom flap.
Step 3: Gently fold the tummy over to affix the top of the tummy just below the firefly’s head.
3D Ladybug Coloring Page

The wings are actually one large 3D element that needs just a little folding and a dab of glue to create a lifelike and realistic ladybug that will soar across the page.

How to assemble the 3D elements to complete the ladybug:
Step 1: Turn the ladybug element over, fold the flaps and apply a generous spread of glue to each.
Step 2: Affix the middle flap first, positioning it just below the ladybug’s head.
Step 3: Affix the wing flaps, pushing them in a little to emphasize the 3D effect.
3D Ant Coloring Page
“Hi-ho, hi-ho it’s off to work we go” sing the ants as they carry the large 3D log to their muddy log pile house in the distance.

Step 1: Turn the log over and fold the flaps.
