To get started, all you need is some colored paper, a paper roll and a marker pen!

How to Make a Paper Roll Grinch Craft
Materials
- Paper Roll
- Green and Yellow Paper
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue stick
- Black Marker Pen,
- Red Felt or Tissue Paper
- White Pipe Cleaner

Let’s Make the Grinch!
Step 1: Create a Strip of Bright Green Paper
Align a piece of paper against a paper roll and cut a strip of paper to size.
Step 2: Wrap the Paper Roll in Bright Green Paper
Next, wrap the green paper around the paper roll and secure the end with a spread of glue.
Step 3: Draw a Pair of Tear Drop Eyes
Using yellow paper, draw and cut out a pair of tear drop shaped eyes.
Step 4: Glue the Eyes to the Paper Roll
Glue the eyes on to the paper roll.
Step 5: Draw the the Grinch a Smile and a Nose
Use a pencil to draw a “Grinch” like smile and expression. Take a look at these images for inspiration or copy our design!
Step 6: Trace the Lines with a Black Marker Pen
Once your Arty Crafty kids are happy with their facial expressions, trace the lines with a black marker pen.
Step 7: Draw a Few Finer Details
Step 8: Wrap a Piece of Felt or Tissue Paper
To create a “Santa” hat, wrap a piece of felt or tissue paper around the top of the paper roll. Secure with glue.
Step 9: Tie a Piece of String
Gather the tissue paper to form a tip and tie a piece of ribbon or string at the gathering.
Step 10: Remove the Excess Material
Remove the excess material/paper.
Step 11: Create a Trim for the Red Christmas Hat
Wrap a piece of white pipe cleaner around the join and twist the ends to secure.
Step 12: Complete the Grinch’s Hat with a Pom-Pom
Wrap the remaining of the white pipe cleaner around the tip of the hat to form a ball.
