Christmas is a special time of year where we get to share gifts with our loved ones. What better way to spread the Christmas cheer than by making your own angel Christmas gift bags!
This easy craft is perfect for kids of all ages and can be customized with your child’s favorite treats.
Our Angel Christmas Bags are perfect stocking fillers, teacher gifts or even products for the school Christmas fair!
To get started, you will need a paper bag, paint, marker pens and a just a few extra bits!

Materials:
- Paper Lace Doily
- Ribbon
- Paper ball or Large Wooden Bead
- Scissors
- Sticky Tape
- Black and Pink Marker Pens
- Paper Bag
- Wooden Stick
- Yellow and Skin Colored Acrylic Paint
Watch the Step-by-Step Process for How to Make an Angel Gift Bag for Christmas:
Let’s Make an Angel Bag!
Step 1: Apply glue to the tip of the stick
Make sure it’s a generous spread of glue all over the tip of the stick!
Step 2: Place the stick into the paper ball
Once the stick is secure within the paper ball, paint the ball a skin tone and leave to dry.
Step 3: Fill the white gift bag with a favorite treat
Step 4: Gather the empty area of bag and cut off the excess
Step 5: Fold the opening and secure with sticky tape.
Step 6: Paint the Angel’s hair
Step 7: Draw facial features
Use a black marker pen to draw two dotted eyes and a pink/red marker pen for the mouth.
Option to apply blusher to the cheeks!
Step 8: Cut a piece of ribbon to size to create a halo and glue it onto the Angel’s head
Step 9: Attach the Angel’s head to the back of the paper bag
Secure the Angel’s head by using sticky tape across the wooden stick.
Step 10: Add a ribbon bow
Tie a bow around around the top of the stick between the bag and Angel’s head – this will help to conceal the wooden stick.
Step 11: Fold two small paper doily’s in half to create Angel Wings
Step 12: Apply a generous spread of glue onto the back of the Angel
Step 13: Affix the doily’s to the spread of glue to create to the Angel Wings
And this completes the tutorial!
The Angel is ready to gifted to a special loved one – perhaps a friend, child, teacher or the Christmas Stocking!
