Thanksgiving Turkey Template
Paper: Newspaper, Colored Paper, Scrap Paper etc
A Pair of Large Googley Eyes
Black Card Stock
PVA Glue
Scissors
Colored Pencils/Pens
Step 1: Download the template, found towards the end of this post.
Print and color in the feathers!
If your Arty Crafty Kids are feeling particularly creative, they could fill in the remaining feathers with their own unique designs!
Step 2: Next, cut out the Turkey Template.
This is a great opportunity for young children to practice their cutting skills and with the design drawn with extra thick black lines to make it a little easier for small hands to follow.
Step 3: Experiment with the layout of the Turkey, either positioning the paper horizontally or vertically.
If you opt for a horizontal layout, the turkey body may need a trim!
Step 4. Using a variety of colored paper and textures, draw around the template and cut out the paper shapes.
Step 5: Assemble the Turkey and secure the pieces with PVA glue, finishing off with a pair of googly eyes and beak.
And ta-da, the Thanksgiving Turkey is now complete!
