3D Printable Christmas Characters – Here’s a super easy Christmas craft to try with the kids this festive season.
Children have a choice of making a 3D Santa Claus, Rudolph or a cheeky little Elf.
The printable templates are available to download in both full colour and black & white, making this a great choice for at home or within the classroom.

Or perhaps add a hanging loop to transform Santa, Rudolph and Elfie into a Christmas tree ornament.
To adapt this idea further, replace the templates face with your child’s photograph!

What you need for – 3D Printable Christmas Characters: Easy Christmas Craft
White cardstock or good quality paper
Colouring pens or crayons
Cotton wool (optional)
Scissors
Glue stick

How to Assemble to the 3D Printable Christmas Characters
Colour in the Christmas Character Templates
Step 1: Get started by colouring in the templates.
Children can use their favourite medium for colouring. Our design has been part coloured with felt tipped pens and painted.
Add Cotton Wool
Step 2: This is an optional step for the Santa Claus and Elf Templates – Add cotton wool to the bottom of the cone.
Step 3: Add a cotton wool bobble to Santa’s hat and to the rim of the hat. Children may also fill his beard with cotton wool.
Make a Cone Shape
Step 4: Add a generous amount of the glue to the flap of the Christmas characters body.
Fold the two ends round to create a cone.
Secure the ends with glue.
Attach a Christmas Character Head
Step 5: Attach the head to the top of the cone.
Complete the 3D Printable Christmas Characters
Step 6: Complete the Christmas character by securing the arms of the back of the cone.
These Printable 3D Christmas Characters can be personalised by replacing the heads with your child’s photograph. Simple remove the face elements from the template and glue the hats, beards or antlers to the photograph.
This would be a super cute adaptation to this easy Christmas craft.
