- White Card Stock for Printing ( Check printer setting and select ‘Fit to Page’)
- A Coloring Medium
- Glue Stick
- Scissors

Let’s Make the Rocking Deer!
Step 1: Color in Deer Template
Kids can explore various coloring mediums, including crayons, markers, colored pencils, and watercolors.
Try blending orange with a a reddish brown color around the spots to create a pretty tonal look.
Step 2: Cut out the deer elements from the template.
Arrange the deer’s tail, legs, head and ears in an order of where they’ll be glued to the deer’s body.
Step 3: Fold the body in half and glue the deer’s back legs and tail.
Glue a leg onto each side of the deer’s body.
Step 4: For balance, glue the deer’s front legs to the opposite side.
Step 5: Affix the ears onto the deer’s head.
Take care to glue the ear with the inner ear onto the front of the deer’s head.
Step 6: Glue the deer’s head onto the body, positioning it just above the front legs.
With the deer’s large hind legs now positioned at the back and its head opposite…
the deer should be perfectly balanced and ready to rock!
