This charming Toadstool Fairy Garden is the perfect craft to stimulate imaginations and encourage small world play. Made from a recycled egg carton, kids can take their Toadstool Fairy Garden for a play anywhere!
Angel hers everywhere and particularly likes the ‘secret garden’. I love watching her play, make up stories and it never ceases to amaze me that so make joy can stem from a little creative thought and an old egg carton.
To make a Toadstool Fairy Garden at home, all you will need is an:

Egg Carton
Paint – Red, white and green
A few sequin flowers
A felt flower shape or you can make one out of recycled fabric, card or paper
Glue
Natural elements – we used pine cones

Toadstool Fairy Garden
Paint the lid (and inside lid) of the egg carton a lovely bright red and the base white. Leave to dry and add white spots onto the lid of the egg carton.
Paint the inside of the egg carton green, adding more white spots to the lid.
Once the paint has thoroughly dried, add flowers and cones to the fairy garden using the materials you have available. Maybe pop outside and collect stones, cones and sticks?
